C/C++ Developer/ C#/ Embedded/ Real time/ Software/ Engineer - I require several C/C++ Developer/ C#/ Embedded/ Real time/ Software/ Engineers for immediate start contracts to be based at a defence company is Gloucestershire. You will be working on cryptographic communications equipment.

- Solid C, C++ and C# skills and experience.
- Development on a range of target systems.
- Excellent design standards and strong debug skills
- The ability to read and understand specifications and protocols.
- Understanding and appreciation of underlying digital hardware.
- Experience of tool chains and version control systems.
- Experience in writing software to a formal software lifecycle procedure with
knowledge of testing and documentation processes.
- Good communicator.

Highly Desirable:
- Experience of compilers and tool-chains - e.g. GCC, MS Visual Studio, Eclipse
- Experience of Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, Android), and embedded
RTOSs (e.g. Greenhills or VxWorks)
- Knowledge of UML notation and OO design methodology.
- Knowledge of ASN-1 notation and MIBs.
- Experience of Java.
- Knowledge of IP and network protocols.
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in industry.
- An appreciation of other engineering disciplines; Digital and Analogue Electronics
