Quality Manager/Business Process Analyst for a CMS-Prototype (based on BeInformed CMS or similar)

We require 1 experienced Quality Manager/Business Process Analyst to work on-site, in a large technical project environment for a multinational organisation based in The Hague, The Netherlands for at least the period until
Start: ASAP.

Our client is a multinational organisation/EN-speaking environment.
Duration: Please note that the client is in a transition phase and will have a many development projects/work packages to follow on this first WP, so that there is a 1-2 years perspective.

Our client is working on the development and the implementation of a new Case Management System to replace all the Legacy automation systems that support this process today. A contract for the development of these new components has been awarded to an external IT-Company .

TASKS

Our client is requiring consultancy services in its branch in The Hague to give advice to the contents and acceptance criteria for the work package(s) to be commissioned to the external IT-Company.

This should include an assessment of the technical offer made by the external IT-Company, its value for money and the completeness of functional and non-functional requirements.

Successful acceptance of each work package is critical to the overall acceptance of the changes by the user community. The proper fulfilment of the acceptance criteria derived from the contract documents has to be in the focus of such a consultancy service.

The client also expects to be advised on the completeness and coherence of its own acceptance tests and the corresponding documentation.

SKILLS required:

For the execution of the tasks the following skills are required:

  • Experience in Business Process Reengineering in large multinational organisations
  • Experience in Case Management System technology.
  • Experience in managing the transition from internal sourcing to best use of managed services
  • Ability to critically evaluate quality processes, programme and project plans and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Start date: as soon as possible

Time lines and key milestones

The external IT company will deliver as follows, you will give advise the client though.
  • Key milestone: 19 December 2012 - First prototype for demo purposes
  • Key milestone: 29 January 2013 - Second stage prototype
  • Key milestone: 26 February 2013 - Final stage prototype.

Your contract will be (ASAP) to , extensions possible

You will guide the client to achieve the Key deliverables:

  • Sandbox Environment
  • Prototype

Some more BACKGROUND

Our client is investing much effort in the design concept of a common workbench for its users with many aspects of state-of-the-art user interaction to satisfy a highest degree of ergonomic requirements. Most of the design concepts need to be proven in a working prototype that can be used for eg usability testing purposes.

The objective of this work package is on the one hand to provide a sandbox environment in which new functionalities and features can be trialed by users and on the other hand, to successfully demonstrate a set of fundamental user interface functionalities in a patent workbench web application based on a BeInformed CMS system with various 3rd party system extensions.
