Second level service desk support analyst,
North Dublin,
Daily Rate - €120 PAYE contractor or €149.58 as a Limited contractor.

The role:
Our client, a large multinational IT consultancy company are currently seeking an experienced second level service desk support analyst to join their operations in North Dublin. This is a 3-6 month contract, and is paid on a daily rate basis.

The fundamental duty of this position is to respond to escalations from first level supports including addressing technical desktop issues, services outages and backup files in an efficient and timely manner. The implementation of systems according to the agreed processes and standards in place already is key.

The candidate:
The successful candidate should have a strong solutions background in both technical support and technical administration, experience of supporting technical incidents on Windows environments (XP/W7) and should have a knowledge of security administration and monitoring in applications such as Internet mail, SPAM and/or Lotus Notes.

Experience:
Software - Microsoft Windows, Mobile Technologies, Anti-Virus, Lotus Notes, POS Systems.
Hardware - Desktops, Laptop and Printer.
Previous experience of Technical Support.
