Description
A leading UK manufacturer of special purpose machinery and precision handling equipment is currently looking to recruit a Control Systems Engineer for a long term contract based in Coventry.
Joining the existing Electrical and Software engineering teams, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems, control architecture and PLC software for the company's extensive range of bespoke equipment. You will also assist with the continuous development of high precision servo drive motion systems, to improve performance and stability.
You'll have a strong background in PLC programming and development, with previous professional experience relating to the design, test, programming and commissioning of control systems for special purpose machinery. Your application should also demonstrate an understanding of electro-mechanical systems, ideally with some exposure to Beckhoff PLCs and Kollmorgen drives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to start a long term contract for a company who are one of the market leaders in their field, with a diverse and exciting portfolio of clients.
