Description
This position leads and manages national and regional business application system projects associated with Sales and Marketing of Individual and Family health care insurance.

Responsible for coordination and completion of business-side deliverables across various operational functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Services, Underwriting, Medical Review, and Information Technology. Responsible for change management, process documentation, communications, budgeting, status tracking, reporting, and all business side deliverables of system development and implementation including requirements, analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support.

Education/License/Certification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Bachelor's deree in in Computer Systems, engineering, or math preferred.
Master's Degree preferred.
PMP and/or PgMP certification desired.

Qualifications:
Substantial experience, typically six or more years in project management.
Experience in a software development environment required.
Excellent analytical ability and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with business clients and IT staff.
Strong project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Health care insurance experience.
Experience in Sales or Marketing.
Professional consulting experience.

Duties:
Organizes, analyses, and controls the activities of the project teams. Prepares activity and progress reports for the team. Leads cross functional team projects. Coordinates and ensures timely delivery of projects and initiatives. Responsible for detailed planning, schedule, budget, and approach. Tracks and reports status (schedule, budget, milestones, metrics, key events, risks and issues) to appropriate manager.
