A global biotech / pharmaceutical organisation require a Process Project Engineer for a permanent position based in Wales.

Main Purpose:

* To deliver Engineering Projects on our client`s site, with specific emphasis on pharmaceutical manufacturing, clean utilities, improvements / replacements in existing or new Production facilities to the required Quality, Cost and Project Program.
* Provide technical `Process Engineering` leadership through definition, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment associated with the key process stages of fermentation, downstream processing and secondary fill finish of the products.

Main Duties to be performed:

* Project Management
Cost estimate and control, programme and plan activities, procure and deliver agreed scope and control / report KPIs for areas of responsibility.

* Process Engineering
Define and specify technical requirements for the procurement of key pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment associated with fermentation, downstream processing and secondary fill finish of the products together with the clean utilities required to support this equipment.
Review and verify all vendor specifications, design documentation and actual equipment operation to ensure it meets business needs.
Review and verify tests to ensure that the equipment meets all requirements both at the vendor`s premises and on site. Start up and commission the equipment / associated utilities and demonstrate that all the relevant systems are fully integrated.
Provide an appropriate handover of equipment to the maintenance function.

* Compliance and Quality
Ensure the design and operation of equipment in area of responsibility complies with appropriate statutory legal & regulatory requirements and follows good engineering practice where appropriate and economically viable.

* Knowledge Acquisition
Develop and acquire core technical skills and knowledge associated with Process equipment in areas or responsibility. Develop and deliver training to ensure information and knowledge is effectively disseminated to appropriate staff.

Other requirements of Position:

* The job holder needs to have a broad range of leadership and interpersonal skills to appropriately influence and manage the required outcomes across this complex organisation.
* The job holder will demonstrate excellent problem solving and planning skills.
