Responsibilities:
The UI/Web Designer will assist the ongoing creation of web page mockups and designs for our company and client products.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment, be a team player and possess strong communication and time management skills.
This individual will:
- Create designs based on site standards following specific direction, with a focus on usability and visual consistency
- Follow and expand the design standards set by the Creative Director
- Possess the ability to incorporate client concepts and feedback into finished designs
- Be passionate about design and the web
- Understand and be familiar with the current standards of front-end development and UX
- Stay attuned to brand details
- Assist in web site design maintenance and production work
- Support product managers with completing screen mockups for project documents based on detailed business requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related professional web design experience -- agency experience preferred
- Knowledge of UI layout and design through HTML/CSS
- Demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop
- Understand responsive web design
- Have experience in desktop and mobile (App design a plus)
- Have a solid understanding of image formats and optimization, cross-browser compatibility, usability and web design best practices.
Our firm focuses exclusively on the real estate industry (Commercial, Multifamily, Retail and Hotel). Experience in this field is a bonus but not required.
