Description
In order to strengthen their highly qualified technical team, my client require a structural design engineer to join them on a permanent basis.The company specialise across three areas including fire and blast protection and training will be provided if necessary. Suitable candidates' will ideally be Degree Educated, possibly Chartered, with a strong Analytical, Design background. Proficiency with hand calculations is essential and experience of analysis packages such as StaadPro, Nastran, Patran, Pro-Mechanica, Cosmos, etc. would give a significant advantage.
Although knowledge of structures is important, this is a mechanical role where knowledge of thermal and non-linear dynamics is crucial.
