Our client is a global retail brand specialising in the homeware and fashion sectors.
They are currently undertaking a large project to revamp their current systems and to add new features to their world-class platform.
They require a Ruby on Rails Developer to redevelop, maintain and redefine their Back End systems using Ruby, CoffeeScript, Javascript and JQuery. The role will involve a variety of different responsibilities and varied development projects that will last for an initial 3 months but the work is more likely to be extended to 6 months.
There will be elements of greenfield development and strong testing skills are a necessity. Our client is an advocate of TDD and experience with RSpec or Cucumber would be beneficial. The Ruby on Rails developer will be required to work in the clients London offices whilst maintaining good relations with teams in Australia and USA.
