IT Security administrator - Role Description
Summary:
Seeking an IT Security administrator serving as technical contact for implementing Information Security Requirements associated with tools implementation for Nodnett project. The candidate will report directly to the Nodnett security manager and dotted line into the MSI information Security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Certified IT Security.
- 2-4 proven experience on system administration and applications support.
- Familiar with common application support (office, etc.).
- Capability to support and work with users.
- Background on information security area.
- 3-5 years of proven hands-on experience in implementing security systems.
- Familiar with the Norwegian Security Act.
- Needs to apply and pass the Norgwegian Secuirty Clearance.
- Familiar with security tools and techniques (encryption, Firewall etc.).
- Good understanding of network security, OS hardening and Oracle DB security.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance on IT security requirements.
- Implement security setting for IT applications and platforms.
- Act as contact person for all IT security related activities.
- Support project users with complying DNK Security act related to the project.
- Support Motorola security policy and standards implementation.
- Create and maintain IT security procedures.
- Provide status reports to project team.
- Analyzes best approach to solving systems problems for effective project execution.
- Provides recommendations and solutions to problems using experience in multiple technical areas.
- Strong overall knowledge of security area.
- Excellent English language skills; oral and written communication with proven ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of management.
- Should be able to work independently with guidance from remote-site contact.
- Ability to work with the business to determine requirements.
- Experience in creating Security and design documents.
Experience in creating user documentation and training end users.
