User Experience Designer
My Client is looking for an experienced, talented User Experience Design (UXD) Professional for a six month contract role, based in one of Europe's most vibrant cities, Dublin!
In the role you will be responsible for the design of applications on web, mobile and tablet platforms. You will facilitate design workshops with stakeholders and other members of the project team to turn written requirements into the flows, screens and components that make an application. You will communicate your designs through written, illustrated specifications and in person. You will help establish and communicate design standards and guidelines within our clients, assisting application teams with understanding and implementing these design standards in their own project work.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have the below skills and experience.
- Five years experience in a UX role. You either have a degree in a design discipline or in a UX discipline.
- You must have strong people and project management skills, and are comfortable working either as a project leader or as a contributor to a team led by someone else.
- Communicator: You use data and design to make complex ideas clear and understandable. You present well, write well and do great presentations.
- You can plan and conduct meetings and workshops that help teams build a shared understanding of a problem and work collaboratively towards a solution.
- You are comfortable organising your time among multiple projects and can stay focused on getting the right things done at the right time.
- You know enough about the capabilities and limitations of web and mobile technologies to collaborate with technology professionals on product design.
