The skills needed on Data Migration are as follows:
Understand Maximo Integration Framework. This allows Maximo to import the data. It also validates the data. Understand how to identify errors and how to fix these:
- Maximo Database Configuration
- Maximo Object Structures
- Creating Excel Templates to capture the data and formatting the data to help the user understand what is mandatory, optional, defaulted etc.
- Assist the Client with Data Extraction, Data loading into the Excels and take small batches of data into Maximo through the Integration Framework.
- Proof the import process.
- Assist the Client in understanding data inconsistencies. Help understand what needs to be done to Remedy this.
- Load data to Maximo - Create Flow Map of data (prerequisites, manual entries)
- Assist in capture and load of Delta data.
Skills are:
- Maximo Integration Framework
- Maximo Database understanding particularly the interactions and prerequisites of the data
- Excel
- XML Read and understand (as this is how the data is presented if in error)
