This is a long term contract opportunity. Company is a young & growing data-mining & database marketing agency with several, large, well-known clients.
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for database development, maintenance, enhancement, queries, reports, Business Intelligence support and supporting marketing teams/client request.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct data quality analysis and quality test
- Gather and analyze business requirements to identify and understand source data systems.
- Ensure adherence to strategy.
- Monitor stored procedures and access methods and times (strong TSQL skills required).
- Support and implement data migration projects.
- Work with support departments on client strategy and managing deliverables.
- Maintain a strong industry knowledge and keep up to date in related skill sets.
- Maintain a strategic understanding of CRM.
- Ability to review code and processes
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Drive multiple concurrent task to completion
- Manage time and meet deadlines
- Quality control test and checks
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- BS Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
- At least 5 years experience building automated database solutions.
- At least 5 years experience as a SQL server database developer. Expertise in Transact-SQL required.
- At least 5 years experience building SQL Server SSIS packages. Proficiency in building ETL solutions in a SQL Server environment required.
- Experience in a Datawarehouse architecture.
