IT Engineer (Documentation writer)
€60 per hour
Contract - ASAP until end of April 2013
Geel, Belgium
We are looking for a temporary assigned engineer to further develop and document daily support activities on the IT systems, for our client based in Belgium, Geel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Engineer with proven technical documentation writing skills to join a globally recognised company as part of a focused and like minded team.
Main responsibilities:
* Collect and organize procedures and knowledge into a single knowledge management system that can easily be shared in the team.
* Participate in delivering IT manufacturing support on as needed basis.
* Ensure adherence to quality processes and drive improvements on the local implementation, with a focus on processes.
Functional competencies:
* Able to take ownership on IT problems and actions
* Interest and Proven track in documenting IT processes
* Balancing influencing skills and collaborative spirit
* Successful track working with and in large organizations
* Dutch speaking, based out of Geel
* Good Engish writing skills
* Available to be part of 24x7 on-call standby (round robin)
* Previous experience having worked in pharma or similar industries (GxP) is an advantage
Technical competencies:
* Experienced IT engineer, strong documentation skills
At least 3 years experience working with
* MES Systems, ITIL, WerumPAS/x and Technical wiritng
* At least basic understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design with a focus on MES systems
* Good technical architectural understanding, fast learner
* Good understanding of system interfaces, previous experience with control systems is an advantage
* Understanding of ITIL processes
* Ability to collaborate effectively with helpdesk services and competency centres in a process driven way
Candidates must be both Dutch and English fluent
