A great opportunity for a 3rd Line windows engineer to join one of the world's leading publishing and media corporations based in London on an initial 6 month contract, although the potential to extend is extremely high with the pipeline of projects. This role will be an even split between BAU and project work - BAU work will be responsible for escalation from desktop engineers, server administration, supporting senior network engineers with administration and managing the disaster recovery solutions. Project work and experience with managing multiple projects is also extremely important - the two major projects include a relocation and redesign of their UK data centre and the designed and implementation of a brand new disaster recovery system.
Essential Experience:
• 3 years + windows server /R2 administration
• Good knowledge of network administration - Cisco switches and routers
• Knowledge of disaster recovery solution
• Experience of working with multiple projects
• Experience of working in a datacentre
The successful candidate will be a strong technical individual but also someone who enjoys client interaction.
