Description
Conduit Group is current looking for a SharePoint Architect to join their Oil and Gas client for a long term contract engagement. Working closely with the implementation team the successful Architect will utilize their technical exposure with the SharePoint platform to customize dynamic solutions.
Core Responsibilities will include:
- Provide enterprise level architecture, design and implementation as well as customization consultation throughout the application life cycle.
- Determine and implement a governance strategy that meets the organizational needs.
- Target, modify and integrate existing SharePoint functionalities and framework.
- Provide sound technical leadership to an established team of PM's, BA's, developers and administrators.
Key Requirements will include:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010.
- Working experience designing and customizing SharePoint master pages and site definition.
- Previous technical experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio
- Experience with Front End user interface development experience using ASP.NET, XML,CSS and JavaScript technologies.
- Database experience with Oracle or SQL server.
- Experience working with SharePoint ISV's
- Ability to lead and communicate proficiently in a fast paced client facing environment.
- Microsoft certifications, related technical certifications and/or relevant post secondary education will be preferred.
