The Software developer should have strong experience in C++, C#, and .NET 3.5, and in addition will have strong math skills and the ability to implement complex algorithms.This Software Engineer should have instrument control experience in a quality regulated environment.
Responsibilities
In this role the candidate will be responsible for the design and development of a platform for the acquisition of high resolution fluorescent microscopy images, coordinating the microscope, cameras, stage and light source.
The candidate must be able to understand existing C++ code, and create wrapper classes around hardware control modules responsible for the data acquisition process. The ideal candidate
Minimum requirements
- Strong experience with C#, C++, .NET 4.0+, VS2010+
- Experience with WPF, WCF, SQL, Prism, MEF, Unity, MVVM, Entity Framework 5.0,EnterpriseLibrary a plus
- Solid understanding of good programming practices, architecture, design patterns and unit testing
- Ability to assimilate hardware vendor API's and documentation
- Instrument control experience using Firewire andSerialPorts
- Medical Device experience is a big plus!
