Electronic and Electrical Systems Test Engineer
Rate: Based on experience
Location: Manchester area
Duration: 6 months initially
Systems Test Engineer required for an Electronic and Electrical Systems Testing contract role within the product development department of a company based in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, testing and visibility within the product development team.
Key experience sought includes:
-Practical proven experience and working knowledge of testing of electronic, electrical, software and systems solutions ideally from an aerospace, automotive or related industry field
-Knowledge of best working practice for testing electronics/electrical/software systems with complex inter/intra systems relationships
-Demonstrable strong experience of entire project test planning and the balance with business/project objectives, challenges and opportunities
-Experience of automated/HIL type testing and Vector toolset (CANoe/TAE etc)
-Knowledge of serial data communications (ie CAN/LIN)
Experience of CANoe/Vector toolset is critical. Candidates from a variety of backgrounds will be considered, including automotive, avionics, defence and more.
