Oracle/PL/SQL Developer
€50 per hour
6 month contract
Near Antwerp
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join their team on site near Antwerp assisting with their master data management database. This is a fantastic opportunity for a database professional to join a global lead in the industry while working alongside driven and like minded individuals to further our client production and personal growth.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development, integration and testing of new applications or functionality enhancements;
- Participate in a weekly status and project meeting with the Project Lead/Manager
; - Provide user support on these applications to internal clients;
- Uploading new content to applications;
- Change request support and administration;
- Service request support and administration;
- Application maintenance activities;
Essential:
Solid Oracle Experience
Analytical Capabilities
Fluent in English - Dutch is also advantageous
More than 2 years International Project Management Experience
4 years or more using PL/SQL
Strong communication skills
Able to work well within a team
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan;
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics
