Description
The project manager is responsible (supported by customer internal functions) for the management of projects or sub-projects within middle and large projects.His/her duties may contain the following:
- definition of project targets together with a customer internal project manager and customer
- planning and operative steering of project resp. part-projects during all project phases according to customer internal standards
- responsible for the project success within his or her responsibilities
- responsible for achieving all functional targets according to project order agreed upon within given timelines
- timely generation and controlling of necessary changes
- design and implementation of an adequate project controlling
- regular reporting and informative status reports
- realization, further development of communication plans for the project management of project teams
- responsible for a customer in nutrition & health environment
- support of total life cycle of an application
- support requirement analysis
- evaluation of bids
- operate the application, displacement, shut-off
- consulting regarding requirements of the IT infrastructure and information to subcontractors
- change management
- interface between functional department (of requesters) and
subcontractors resp. operators of the application
- escalation management
- execution of orders of the information manager
- all responsibilities are valid according to a defined area of responsibility - certified in project management (preferably PMI)
- at least 3 years relevant project experience (functional project tasks and support of project management functions or equiv.)
- at least 3 years experience in a functional management role, i.e. project manager
- experience in projects with customers outside and inside of BASF group and/or in international environment preferred
- BASF project and group experience (please describe detailed)
- language skill: German, English, both fluent (w/s)
- LIMS knowledge (ideally Labware)
- Useful but not essential is experience with interfaces LIMS laboratory instrumentation, LIMS SAP-QM
- Experience of working in a GMP environment (to work with another company that is engaged by EN to support validation)
- Project management skills (ideally but not essential would be PMP certified)
- BASF Infrastructure know how
