Description
Senior Software Engineer, WPFUrgent need for Senior Software Engineer with a passion for creating solid WPF applications with clean user interfaces using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of a platform for the visualization of complex data and generation of reports derived from the analysis of high resolution fluorescent microscopy images. The candidate must be able to design and implement software with intuitive and well-designed user interfaces that are responsive, clean, and easy to extend. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact not only with other team members building different components of the system, but also with scientists and non-engineers to gather requirements.
Minimum requirements
- Strong experience with C#, WPF, .NET 4.0+, VS2010+, Expression Blend
- Experience with .NET 4.5 Parallel Programming methodologies
- Experience with WCF, SQL, Prism, MEF, Unity, MVVM, Entity Framework 5.0, Enterprise Library
- Solid understanding of good programming practices, architecture, design patterns and unit testing required
- Strong skills in UX and UI design
- Experience in a regulated environment a big plus
- Ability to read and understand C, C++, Python and plus
- Experience with large data sets a plus
- Excellent communication skills required
