About the job:
You will coordinate the essential E2E Software licence management tasks of the team enabling them to meet customer demands to deliver Software licenses to internal and external customers globally in a timely & efficient manner. This includes helping the team to distribute sometimes physically software to our external customers.
This role involves routine administration specifically focussed on 3 different types of software distribution to our customer. It requires someone who can work unsupervised, accurate and has a good attention to detail, alongside a patient & engaging personality to deal with customers at all levels across.
What you will do:
- Work with Application owners to understand license distribution requirements and contractual agreements with third parties
- Controlled distribution of software licenses and applications packages to internal and external parties
- Deployment of Software Licenses relative to contractual agreements
- License and maintenance payment & approval
- Monitoring of Software License actual usage
You also play a key role in supporting protected access to Intellectual Property (IP) and prevent intentional or unintentional disallowed use.
Skills you will bring:
- General Knowledge & skill MS Office IT tools especially Outlook & Excel. Use of Web applications
Preferred Licence Management experience:
- Experience in performing License generation tasks through Excel, Access and license meter (USB dongle)
- Experience in distribution, monitoring usage and processing payments of software licenses
- Previous experience with Safenet/Sentinel/FlexLM
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial
- Administration - documents well processes and procedures, meets deadlines, set priorities
- Confidentiality - skilled at working with sensitive technical information
- Self-motivated - skilled at working independently and with application owners at a distance' and can manage varied & unpredictable workload with minimal supervision
- Interpersonal - skilled at negotiating with colleagues, mainly via email, to arrange correct approval - fluent spoken & written English
