Description
A market leading Financial Services client based in Surrey requires a Corporate Commununications Consultant (PR) on a contract basis.
You will be responsible for planning, managing and executing public relations in countries within Europe. PR activities are targeted at two main audiences: the business community in the countries they operate and more specifically, customers & prospects (public relations); and business and trade media (media relations).
The PR function comprises several communications disciplines, specifically media relations, crisis and issues management, public affairs and community relations. You will be responsible for planning, managing and executing external communications projects in Europe that encompass several of these communication disciplines.
You must also work with colleagues in Marketing Communications and several business areas to support trade PR plans and build appropriate profile for new products, services and technologies with relevant business audience and journalists from the trade press across all sectors in Europe. To accomplish this, you will also liaise with employees at all levels of the organisation (typically senior management) in Europe, and works in cooperation with the wider Corporate Communications Team in Europe, Asia and the US.

The successful candidate will have good experience working within a communications environment working on external communications projects.
