Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff. Demonstrated experience with the development of web based applications. Demonstrated experience with object-oriented techniques. Demonstrated experience using SQL. Demonstrated experience using HTML. Demonstrated experience using JavaScript. Experience with formal software testing. Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

Preferred:
Experience with the DOH Health Management System (HMS) or other clinic management and/or electronic health record software. Experience with the development of web based applications utilizing Intersystem's Cache (CSP and/or Zen). Knowledge of Agile software development, project management and testing practices.

Education/Experience
Required:
2 + years demonstrated experience developing web-based applications in Intersystem's Cache, .Net, or Java. 2+ years demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques. Experience with The State of Florida, Health Management System is highly desirable although not required.

Tasks
Produce Intersystem's Cache application code to meet user-defined requirements. 5.1 a-i, 5.2 a-e
Document Intersystem's Cache application code. 5.2 a-e
Provide analytical services on the Health Management System to implement user defined requirements. 5.3 a-d
Provide analytical services on the Health Management System to identify operational efficiencies. 5.3 a-d
Facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff. 5.2 a-e
Provide work estimates for Release Planning and Sprint Planning to implement user-defined requirements. 5.5 b
Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements. 5.4 a-d
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff. 5.4 a-d
Participate in Daily Stand-up meetings to give daily progress reports on the implementation of user-defined requirements. 5.5 b, c
Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks for a specific time period. All timesheets must be confirmed and approved by the Department's Contract manager, prior to payment. 5.5 d
Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT Staff to ensure compliance with DOH standard. 5.5 e, f
Provide analytical services on DOH IT processes to identify operational efficiencies. 5.5 e, f
Document DOH IT processes. 5.5 e, f
