Description
Experienced Java Developer -West Yorks- 6 mths contractDue to increased workload and project plans coming in early in 2013, a leading online entertainments company is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their current development team early Q1 fresh in the New Year on an initial 6 month contract basis.
You will be working closely with the development team members and working to tight deadlines.
You will be responsible for end-to-end designing of code whilst maintaining and improving the current code.
End-to-end full-cycle experience is a must as you will be working from design through to implementation and testing.
The technical requirements for this role:
- 4+ years Java
- Spring
- Oracle
- Hibernate
- Eclipse
- Full-cycle project & end-to-end experience
- Testing experience is a further bonus
- Additional server and database experience is a plus
You will be working to tight deadlines delivering quality code. You will need to have good communication skills and user-facing experience is a plus as you will be communicating between multiple departments. There may also be an opportunity to mentor lower developers that are on the team.
