Compliance and Audit Manager needed for an initial 3 month contract, based in Bexleyheath for a large Utilities company.

The candidate will be joining the company to provide appropriate leadership and focus on Safety and Health across B2C and ensure that processes and plans are in place to guarantee an incident free performance within the Audit, Compliance and Risk Team and also to work as part of the Business Services management team to ensure that the overall objectives of the function are met and personally demonstrate role model leadership attributes and behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have experience of project management, detailed experience of at least 3 of audit, compliance, risk management and continuity planning work and of applying the COSO internal control framework, with experience also, of leading a small team of experts to deliver a quality output and of taking the initiative within a broad brief.

The candidate will also have a detailed understanding of risk management and internal controls and the importance of these to the effective running of a large organisation and be able to write effective business reports to a high standard and to write for a variety of audiences. You will have the ability to deal with ambiguity and develop and agree plans in a complex and dynamic environment.
