Description
Our client is a Global Technology Company with operations in Kildare. They currently seek a UI developer to join their team from January. This will be a 3 month contract which is expected to be extended.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Expert Frontend Web Developer
- Design integration with development team
- Work closely with the design and development team
- Very strong JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3 and HTML
Required Skills:
- Semantic HTML
- JavaScript
- JQuery (mootools or other)
- Ajax
- JSON
- CSS3 (including media queries, transformations etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience developing for an array of form factors, platforms, browsers etc.
- Experience with a range of JavaScript frameworks/libraries ie backbone.js (ReSTful interfaces), knockout.js, underscore.js etc.
- HTML5 exposure would be an advantage ie canvas, web workers, etc.
- User Experience Design
- SVG - Sprite sheets
- Provide online samples of work to date
Need to have strong HTML/CSS skills to carry out Design integration with development team.
