Software Installer - Role definitionThe client is a public administration which has a large, diverse IT systems base, including Legacy systems and new technologies
Responsibilities:
- Working in a team responsible for installations in Test and Pre-Production environments.
- Installation and Administration various applications in the Q&A and production environments.
The candidate should have experience in the following
- Proven track record of working as a team member in a large organisation with a complex systems architecture
- Experience with release methodology & QA test domains (System, Integration, Performance, User acceptance, Regression).
- Analysis and problem resolution skills.
- Language skills: English required, preferably also Spanish and/or French.
- Good negotiation skills and team building knowledge.
- Good reporting and planning skills
- Following technical skills
- WebLogic, tomcat (as administrator)
- Java
- Advanced knowledge of OS: windows, unix and linux
- Databases: Informix, Oracle and MySQL
- Apache
- Visual Basic
- Experience of working with the following systems - Alfresco, Remedy, Weblogic, Content Management, Filenet across the full development/release/operational life cycle.
- ITIL Service Delivery as well as project management experience or certification (Prince2, PMI)
- Background in public administration contracts and experience working with third parties, who are neither direct clients nor providers.
- Optionally test certification (ISEB/ISTQB or equivalent) are welcome.
