Role: C# Programmer
Duration: 6 months +
Locations: Salem, OR
Description:
Genuent has a need to hire a C# Programmer for the Salem Oregon area for one of our PREMIER Clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Contractor must have the following:
- At least five (5) years of general professional consultative, technical, or administrative experience which includes designing, constructing, or analysing information systems.
- At least two (2) years professional experience using C#.
- At least one (1) year of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Microsoft Office 2003 or higher.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Preference will be given to a candidate with experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
THE PROJECT:
- A C# Programmer needed to provide enhancement and upgrade programming support for existing Motor Carrier Transportation Client Server applications to address access and functionality while maintaining Security concerns.
- Provide analysis and expertise to plan, develop, test and document program changes.
- Provide expert computer programming analysis and development expertise to design, develop, test and implement enhancements and upgrades to the Client Server-based applications.
- Consultant shall incorporate emerging development and security standards into code development.
- Develop and revise application, program, and end-user documentation as may be necessary.
- Complete unit testing and participate in Peer Reviews of developed code.
- Consultant shall support business acceptance testing by providing necessary data and environment information as well as correcting any code issues discovered during testing and peer reviews.
- Will develop and review requirements.
- Will complete and carry out test plans and develop and coordinate application and system implementation plans.
