Are you a Hyperspectral Imaging technical lead with prior experience working with leading edge technology and especially experience in Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDS)?

Our client is currently seeking an IEDs Hyperspectral Imaging Technical Lead who can take initiatives to manage the development and delivery of a prototype device, for a 13 months contract role based in Canberra.

The candidate should possess the following skill sets:

Technical Expertise:

  • Post graduate qualifications in project management and/or engineering with 4 years experience; or graduate qualifications with 8 years management experience.
  • Demonstrated systems engineering experience in a Defence environment including the implementation of Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) and demonstrated experience in managing test and evaluation programs.

Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and investigating information from a variety of viewpoints, exploring new ideas, shaping strategies and delivering tangible results in an environment characterised by competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing small teams and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes, to exceed stakeholder expectations in tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience in in gathering and investigating information from a variety of sources, undertaking systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions and delivering high quality reports.
