Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Daily Rate: £400 - £500
Location: Lincolnshire
Duration: 12 Months
Weekly Hours: 50
A bespoke renewable energy project, based in Lincolnshire, requires a commissioning engineer on a 12 month contract basis, with possible extensions.
You will be responsible for setting up, calibration and maintenance of various instrumentation systems. These will be monitoring temperature, pressure and weight variables, with commissioning to include consideration of ATEX directives and the site's hazardous environment.
As a competent commissioning engineer, you will be able to demonstrate a strong E&I background, ideally within a power station environment. Any knowledge of instrumentation for renewable energy projects is highly desirable, while at least a basic understanding of hazardous areas and ATEX directives is required to be considered. You will be required to produce Risk and Method Statements and daily reports to both suppliers and the end client.
