Senior System Specialist - Contract - Älmhult, Sweden
I am urgently recruiting for a System Specialist with extensive and expert knowledge of Java based Middleware. This is a long term contract role based in Älmhult, Sweden; candidates must be eligible to work in the specified location.
As System Specialist the resources will be part of a highly trusted team of specialists in the Internet area. The resources will manage our Java based application and Web server environment that hosts the client's retail website, which has +1 billion visits per year! The technical platform infrastructure service has support.
There for in this position it is required to be on duty outside office hours.
Resolve incidents, perform changes, test of infrastructure, and project support will be part of the assignments.
To be considered for the role you will have;
*Good knowledge and experience of working in retail domain mainly E-commerce sites
*Extensive experience and knowledge of Java based middle-ware, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server 6-8, including installations and configurations.
*Extensive experience in installing, configuring and administrating Web Servers such as IBM HTTP server and Apache.
*Extensive experience in supporting/troubleshooting/configuring production, pre-production and test environments and applications in a WebSphere clustered environment or similar.
*Experience in web application development using J2EE Technologies such as EJB, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JDBC.
*High UNIX skills
