My client, a Top Tier Bank has a great opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join their Business & Commercial Business Function. The role will be based in London. The role holder will be responsible for delivering the compliance risk initiatives and strategies. Responsibilities will include identify risks and implementing commercially aware solutions, so the roleholder must be aware of both the up and downstream regulatory risk agenda.Must have experience in internal and external regulatory reporting, monitoring and delivering training.
The Main deliverables of the role include supporting the implementation of the compliance agenda; undertaking a high standard of monitoring review and supporting implementation and maintenance of a Compliance Management Framework in accordance with Group Policy Framework.
Essential
- Extensive regulatory risk management experience
- Knowledge of risk Management techniques
- Understand the operational, legal and regulatory environments, identifying challenges for and the opportunities to impact on the management of regulatory risk.
- Knowledge and experience of regulatory monitoring, reporting and T&C requirements in order to drive a compliance culture.
- Understanding of Operational processes and systems
- Ability to interface between IT and the Business
- Proven experience in building relationships and being able to influence behaviour and decisions
- High level of communication and presentation skills
