Background: My client is a Brussels based international bank.
You will join the Financial Support team (part of Finance Division) which
- Takes Business System ownership on the Oracle Financial system;
- Assists, encourages and facilitates the move to common Business Processes across the bank.
The team is responsible for:
- Ensuring System Ownership: monitor & control the flows between the different systems/interfaces in Oracle;
- Provide Functional Support to the end-users;
- Be a central point between the business and the technical teams;
- Maintain the Master Data of Oracle (cross streams);
- Provide Common Guidance on the Financial processes across all the bank's entities.
- Build up Expertise in Oracle R12: AP, AR, Procurement, Cash Management (+APRO), Fixed Assets, EBTax, GL, AGIS, iExpenses, Oracle Discoverer for reporting.
Tasks:
- Provide support to end-users and ensure best practices;
- Monitor the interfaces;
- Administer the accesses;
- Control the notification flows;
- Develop ad-hoc queries using SQL (Toad tool);
- Solve issues and questions received by ESD tickets (300 tickets per month).
Essential Skills/Experience
- You must be a qualified accountant;
- Experience in: GL, AR, AP, Cash Management, EBTax, AGIS and Procurement;
- Experience as end user functional support in Oracle R12;
