Metering Technician/Specialist -UK wide
£ pd(contract), £50-65,000 pa (staff) plus excellent signing on bonus
ReThink Energy's client is a an international O&G company with a number of UK assets. They currently seek a Metering Technician to join their already significant North Sea team. This position is for a 2/3 rotation. The candidate may be based anywhere in the UK and their travel to the platform will be fully expensed.
Responsibilities and requisites for this position include:
- Proven record of ability to calibrate instrumentation associated with Metering Systems.
- Capable of carrying out maintenance and Verification of Measuring systems
- Rectifying breakdowns in the field
- Ability to write and communicate reports and prepare test calibration results.
- Following maintenance and operating standards
- Monitor performance of metering systems and making recommendations based on that
- An understanding of the technical issues involved in the processing of natural gas and crude oil
- HNC/ONC Instrumentation/Electronics. City & Guilds Instrumentation/Measurement. Full Technology Certificate or other equivalent qualifications.
The selected candidate will have strong Oil & Gas sector experience and will come from a background as a Metering Technician or as an Instrument Technician.
