DublinResponsibilities:

  • Analysis, design, development, and implementation of J2EE web applications in a dynamic financial services environment.
  • Delivery of technical design/implementation of architectural components.
  • Contribute effectively at many different points in a project life cycle as a motivated, self starting individual contributor
  • Adhere to project timelines, addressing and resolving technical issues with extra effort/time where required
  • Contribute effectively and deliver on both projects and support tasks in a dynamic, demanding, and fast paced environment
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with strong communication to the team, including the timely delivery of bug fixes in support of user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to or write concise and clear TSD documents based on analysis of complex business requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of software development background with emphasis on J2EE
  • Proficiency with the Java programming language & experience in following technologies required: Java/J2EE, EJB, WebSphere, RAD, JIL, Struts, Tomcat, Eclipse, Oracle, SQL Server, IBI Webfocus, OBI, BRIO, AIX, Linux, NT, Informatica, Salesforce.com/FORCE.com, Clear Case
  • Sound knowledge of database design required: tables, views, triggers, stored procedures
  • Good experience in Web Services, XML/XSL, SOA and design patterns.
  • Experience with Frameworks such as Spring, IBatis, JUnit
  • Experience with Mobile web frameworks like JQuery,
  • Javascript, JSP and CSS Experience strongly desired.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, Data Rights Management trends, and how to implement secure Internet facing applications
  • Able to work in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment to achieve group goals, often hand in hand with the business team
  • Ability to recommend design changes for complex, interrelated systems design to achieve complicated requirements, improve performance or reduce costs of ownership
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance priorities on simultaneous projects
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate functional business and systems requirements to technical staff.
  • Must be an organized self-starter with a collaborative work style, customer service focus, and ability to multi-task.
  • Online platform experience a plus, prior work in the Financial Advisor and/or Philanthropic space strongly desired
  • Familiar with use of Agile software delivery methodology
