Description
An exciting opportunity is currently available in Luxembourg for an English and/or French speaking Script Developer. This position is located in the Public Sector through an IT Service Provider.We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Required skills:
- Familiarity with common Microsoft Scripting languages (eg VBscript, WSH) and programming languages (eg C++, C#, VB.NET, etc.);
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft installation technologies (eg MSI) and related tools (eg InstallShield);
- Expertise in application virtualisation using the Microsoft Application Virtualization technology (SoftGrid) is considered an asset;
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating systems family (Windows XP/Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Mobile 5/6);
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office products family, of Internet Explorer and of managing application parameters using policies (local policies, GPOs);
- Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Dial-up networking, VPN), Windows networking and the Active Directory (Group Policies, etc.);
- Expertise in software production and management as well as in software documentation and reporting;
- Familiarity with software distribution tools (eg LANDesk);
- Knowledge of French is considered an advantage;
- Certification of ITIL for service delivery and service support is considered an asset.

- Fluent in French
