Our FTSE 100 client require experienced Procurement Officer.

Description of job and key responsibilities

Reporting to Procurement Delivery Manager. Delivery of projects within own area on time and within budget. Understanding of commercial risk and escalate issues. Implementation of company procurement and commercial procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of and ability to interpret industry related conditions of contract (ideally regulated Utilities procurement)
IT skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Oracle.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Timely achievement of contract award to ensure that the procurement function meets the business and delivery objectives of the project.
Deliver against the Procurement KPI's to assist the department's annual targets.
Successful progression of contracts through the Internal Governance Gate process against agreed timescale.
Successful, well managed contracts with few or no disputes.
Assists and contributes to the delivery of Supplier Relationship Management process across a defined range of targeted suppliers where relevant.
