Chase Resourcing are delighted to be working with one of our partners in Co. Galway. An experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer is required by our client to work on all stages of the development cycle of the companies various software projects. You will be working as part of a closely knit team, so you will need to be able to display a strong work ability to work closely with others. Ideally you will have experience working closely with developers in an scrum environment, or a similar Agile environment.
Some of the skills are requirements for this role include the following:
- Computer Engineering/Computer Science Degree/IT/Electronics Engineering (BEng or BSc, Hons) or equivalent.
- An aptitude for troubleshooting in a complex environment
- Ability to clearly and accurately communicate technical issues
- Experience with Issue Management software such as FogBugz, StarTeam etc.
- Manual and automated testing of desktop and web based applications
- Experience writing queries against SQL databases
- Previous working experience with some of the following: Functional testing, Load testing, Unit testing, Regression testing
- Excellent English, both written and spoken.
