Chase Resourcing are delighted to be working with our clients, a leading design and print media company, on the recruitment of an experienced Web Designer. Working in their Kerry offices, you will be involved in all aspects of the design and development of client websites. An important aspect of this role will be developing sites that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are also efficient and user friendly, so a strong understanding of the working of user interaction and user accessibility are very important for this role.
Other important requirements for this role include:
- 3 – 5 years previous experience of designing and developing sites, with a portfolio of active sites
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash
- Experience designing sites in graphic manipulation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator & GIMP
- A proven ability to code in a variety of coding languages, including HTML & CSS.
- Experience coding with database driven sites using PHP & MySQL sites is an added bonus
