Description
Chase Resourcing has been asked by our client, Ireland’s most prominent financial – house based in scenic Killarney to secure the services of Systems Administrator who will join a highly technical development team who have the resources and technologies to excel and innovate.
Requirements:
- Follow documented procedures to debug and correct installed UNIX operating system software as required.
- Maintenance & enhancement of the server infrastructure
- Follow documented procedures to plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes to system software as required.
- Implementation of new technologies including cloud computing efforts.
- Participate in detailed technical system administrator project work with existing and new business.
- Maintenance of the integrity and security of our PCI accredited network.
- Troubleshoot network and server issues.
- Install, configure and deploy UNIX and Linux operating software, application and associated components.
Other Skills:
- Unix, Linux (preferably Redhat or CentOS), Solaris 10 & 11,
- Oracle & Mysql DBMS, VMWARE ESX
- Willingness to contribute to design of evolving network especially with regard to cloud computing.
- The System Admin also must possess the proven ability to communicate and work effectively with managers, administrative staff, IT staff, DBAs, application developers and vendors.
