Clearbold is on the lookout for additional developers to work on projects in 2013.
We're a virtual team working on a number of client projects at a given time. While we're located throughout Massachusetts & New England, it'd be nice to meet up from time to time in Western Massachusetts.
We like to book freelancers on a project's full timeline and see you take ownership of development on that project. Solid online communication skills are key. Front-end devs:
* Build static pages & microsites to launch as pure HTML
* Build out static templates based on designs, for approval and CMS integration
* Build dynamic functionality with jQuery, HTML5 & CSS3
* Build future-friendly, accessibility-focused sites, typically using Responsive Web Design techniques
* QA their work thoroughly, in IE8+, the latest versions of Safari, Firefox & Chrome, and on mobile devices running iOS or Android
* Collaborate with and support other developers using Git and Campfire
* Manage their codebase using LESS/SASS and CodeKit/Hammer
* Are able to leverage direction provided in designs and improvise as needed to fill in gaps
Experience coding templates for CMS integration is a must.
We deploy experience & expertise on our projects. We're not looking for a designer or jack-of-all-trades developer for this role. Front-end development is playing a larger role in our projects and we're seeking individuals committed to that role.
