SunGard Banner Applications Developer, Contract, Dublin
Vantage Resources are seeking an experienced applications specialist for a six month contract role with a Government Department in Dublin.
The role will involve implementation, deployment and support of SunGard Banner Application. Applicants must have commercial experience in SunGard Banner to be considered for the position.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Banner application and related systems.
Developing strategies for system streamlining
Carrying out functional analysis
Carrying out system analysis and design
Producing documentation including training documentation if required
Product analysis and Quality management
Making Recommendation to Management
Identifying users' data access/query/reporting needs
Reports and data extraction using PL/SQL
Balance hardware/system and software requirement
As an ideal candidate you will have
Ability to use PL/SQL
Knowledge of report writing tools eg Crystal Reports
Unix-based command-line skills
Experience with Oracle RDBMS or another enterprise class RDBMS
BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar preferred
