Description
Senior .NET Sitecore Developer required for a permanent opportunity based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the role of Senior .NET Sitecore Developer you will work throughout the software development life cycle, providing Sitecore subject matter expertise. You will be required to be hands-on developing with Sitecore and .NET based technologies but also to educate and lead others.
In the role of Senior .NET Sitecore Developer your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop local and cloud-based Internet applications
- Gather and understand business needs and requirements and producing functional documentation and functional prototypes
- Create test plans and develop test suites for integration and unit testing
- Manage versioning and deployment of application source code including source control management, branching, tagging etc.
- Develop and review architecture plans, code reviews, security reviews, and cross-training
- Assist in troubleshooting difficult technical issues
- Maintain existing application with an eye to strategy and continuous improvements
- Demonstrates proficiency with the Microsoft .NET technologies
- Implement Sitecore best practices and design patterns
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior .NET Sitecore Developer should possess the following:
- Bachelor's in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in .NET web application development.
- Knowledge of full SDLC and Agile development methodologies, application development life cycle, testing, performance tuning, and debugging.
- Experience with the .NET framework, Microsoft developer tools, SWL, MVC, web services (SOAP/XML, REST/JSON)
- Experience with SaaS application Back Office integration (Salesforce.com)
- Ability to work with business teams to help develop requirement and quickly turn those requirements into quality, working code while working independently
- Experience with HTML5, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT AJAX, SOAP, JQuery, MVC patterns, Sitecore CMS 6.4/6.5/SES, Web Forms, Win Forms, Web Service, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WPF, WCF, WWF, LINQ, Silverlight
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English (Danish is a plus)
