Our client is a large bank who is looking for a credit risk project manager for a new project that is in its formation stage. The role is likely to run for 12 months to the completion of the assignment
The bank is creating a new internal framework to create mor granularity within their business information. The current framework isn't broken, it needs enhancing.
The role will be working with a small team of 6 including BA's and an IT consultant.
The initial stage of the project will be creating the conceptual work streams, what will it look like. Is this feasible as an idea, will it be better or worse when deposits are put under this stress environment. What are the requirements for the liquidity framework, some of which has already been considered. The outcomes may present questions on products sold to customers and this needs to be considered.
Other considerations as the project evolves, how can the data be used, how should it be cut, what will analysis of main customers present, how often should the data be refreshed. Test the data and then come up with a TOM.
You will be liaising with a number of senior executives across the bank, running meetings and managing the stakeholder relationships.
You will have a solid working understanding of credit risk with a well developed level of interpersonal skills to manage the senior relationships. This is a regulatory related piece of work which needs to be completed.
