AS400 Personnel (DBA Businesstaff) has been retained by a San Diego County client to locate them a User Interface Analyst in a contract role. In this position you will prototype, design, and build user interfaces (GUIs) for software development, Web forms, and other applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conceive and model user interface prototypes based on collected user requirements, test cases, and development objectives.

Design high-level flow diagrams and GUI form charts for use in GUI specifications and architectures.

Collaborate with software developers to ensure prototypes can be efficiently implemented.

Identify, recommend, and prioritize new user interface features and applications in conjunction with end-user requirements or business needs.

Plan and implement usability tests throughout development life cycle and analyze results for resolving GUI-design issues.

Coordinate with other departments, organizing information to be useful for the audience of the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 year degree in a computer-related field (computer science/programming), or degrees in human computer interaction, industrial design, visual arts and graphic design.

4+ years experience in web designing.

Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS and other computer publishing environments.

Present and conduct reviews of user interface designs with project managers, stakeholders, and other involved parties.

Document design, testing, and requirements-gathering processes and procedures

A certificate in web design program or graphic design program preferred.

Certificate in Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Paint shop preferred.

Contract rate is $40 to $50/Hr.
