Description
Position open for a Unix Systems Administrator. This position is 100% remote but candidates must be willing to work 8-5 EST.
The following is a list of what we prefer our candidates to have (the more the better):
- Experience with Scripting Langauges
- Understanding of Performance Monitoring software such as Nagios, SNMP, Sysstat.
- Knowledge of Network concepts such as TCP/IP Stack, Load balancing, Firewalls and iRules.
- Knwoledge of RAID technology
- Storage: RAID, SAN, NAS fundamentals
- RHCE certification is STRONGLY preferred
- Strong Knowledge on Linux, LDAP integration, NFS, NIS
- Linux Clustering
- Knwoledge of Linux Platform like Redhat, Centos, Suse
- Application protocols: Excellent understanding of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP
