Description
My client is a defence organisation looking for an experienced Commercial Interim to manage commercial activities across a wide range of complex and demanding procurements.
Key duties will be:
- working within a commercial team to deliver programme objectives
- working closely with project colleagues to achieve customer requirements
- managing a range of stakeholders within the organisation, Government departments and potentially industry
- to contribute to procurement strategies and develop contracting strategies
- compiling and issuing tenders
- contract placement and contract management
- providing commercial advice and assistance
Skills and experience:
- ideally will have 5 years minimum of commercial experience
- ideally have defence industry/government defence experience
-you will be able to develop and maintain commercial relationships in the demanding defence marketplace
- experience of constructing detailed contracting strategies to exacting customer requirements
- have a thorough understanding of the supply chain and industrial landscape
