An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner for a 6 month contract based at our corporate centre office in London.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner the successful candidate will be responsible for taking joint responsibility for the Finance Business Partner team objective by:

  • Partnering managers, heads of department & directors in driving business performance.
  • To produce a range of management information to support operational & strategic decision making.
  • You will also control the finance systems and processes to ensure accurate & timely data.

It is essential that the Finance Business Partner will possess:

  • The ability to analyse, develop and maintain business operations, processes and indicators to determine drivers that affect performance
  • The ability to produce clear and accurate financial and statistical narrative reports on a monthly basis, monitoring and pro-actively advising on performance
  • The ability to work with managers, pro-actively to identify issues that impact on goal achievement
  • Experience of working with managers, HODs and Directors to assist with planning and budgeting, bringing together financial and non-financial data into a business plan focused on achieving CIMA 's strategic goals
  • Experience of using & maintaining finance software including:
    o Microsoft Great Plains
    o InforPM10
    o Alternative finance systems
  • The ability to simplify complex financial issues, and communicate to finance and non finance people
  • The ability to take responsibility for own workload, and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • The confidence to devise and implement process changes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACMA (or equivalent), or demonstrate a clear commitment to completing the qualification within an agreed timeframe
  • Proven finance experience
