Description
Job Requirements:Proficient in the use of Petra Geologic Software and Microsoft Office products. Maintain geologic data base and geologic software including but not limited to importing and exporting well data between data vendors, company data base, and software. Data includes well location information, production values, well directional surveys, raster log images, LAS log values, and formation top information and/or values.
Additional tasks include digitization and orthorectification of various maps or images for importation into software or presentation material. Must be able to independently research and obtain the aforementioned data from various third party vendors including the Texas Railroad Commission, USGS, log libraries, IHS Energy, Geomap, and Drilling Info. Ability to work independently or in a team environment is required.
